Dr. Laura Westra received her Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in 1983 and her second Ph.D. in Jurisprudence at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005. She has served in numerous professional societies and on the Editorial Board of many philosophical and scientific journals. Most of her work is on environmental ethics, policy, and law, with emphasis on human rights and global justice. Dr. Westra has published more than 94 articles and chapters in books, and 46 books/monographs.
